As a gamer one of the phrases you will hear developers say a lot in reference anything is the words “Soon” or “Very Soon”, the bog standard response prompted someone to come up with the “Gamer” definition of “Soon and “Very Soon”.
So the definition of “Soon” which is being thrown around a lot at the minute by certain companies is :-
“Soon” does not imply any particular date, time, decade, century, or millennia in the past, present, and certainly not the future. “Soon” shall make no contract or warranty between <-Insert Developer-> and the end user. “Soon” will arrive some day, <-Insert Developer-> does guarantee that “soon” will be here before the end of time. Maybe. Do not make plans based on “soon” as <-Insert Developer-> will not be liable for any misuse, use, or even casual glancing at “soon.”
That is the standard definition of “Soon” in regards gaming developers it is also pretty much the definition that any parent uses when telling their children when they are at any location in the car!!
A recent example of which would be this :-
